Donna is a managing director and co-founder of Odin.  In this role she is active in the day-to-day management of the firm and also serves on the firm’s investment committee, which approves new commitments of capital.  Prior to co-founding Odin, Donna served in several executive positions with First Data Corporation, a Fortune 100 information services and e-commerce company.  She was also a financial analyst for CS First Boston in the Mergers and Acquisitions Group and an associate with The Boston Consulting Group.  Donna earned an M.B.A. in marketing and strategic planning from The Wharton School of the University of Pennsylvania. She also received a B.S. in economics, with majors in finance and accounting, from Wharton.  Donna serves on the boards of The Midlands Venture Forum, a non-profit professional organization, and Gridley & Co, a New York-based boutique investment bank.

John is a venture partner with Odin and is active in the day-to-day management of the firm.  John is also currently the managing partner of Ideation Ventures, an investment management and consulting business focused on early and growth stage ventures.  Prior to Odin, John spent seven years assisting in the management of a Midwest-based early-stage venture capital fund, where he worked hands-on with a variety of portfolio companies involved in enterprise software, telecom services, high-tech manufacturing and health care services. He also previously served as the Chief Financial Officer for an early stage software company.  In addition to earning the Chartered Financial Analyst (CFA) designation, John holds an M.B.A. in management and strategy from Northwestern University’s Kellogg School of Management and a B.S. degree in accounting from the University of Nebraska at Lincoln.

David is a co-founder of Odin and member of the firm’s investment committee, which approves new commitments of capital. David is also president of First National Mezzanine Capital LLC, a wholly owned subsidiary of First National Nebraska, Inc. Prior to co-founding Odin, David was based in Chicago and specialized in financing mergers and acquisitions and debt recapitalizations while at Bank of America, where he was a managing director, and at Citicorp, where he was a vice president. David received his M.B.A. from the University of Chicago Graduate School of Business and his B.S. from Nebraska Wesleyan University.

Tom is a co-founder of Odin and member of the firm’s investment committee, which approves new commitments of capital. Tom is also chairman of The Affiliated Companies, Inc., a private equity investment firm based in Omaha. He began his finance career as a banker, first with the National Bank of Commerce in nearby Lincoln and then with U.S. Bank in Omaha. Tom earned a B.A. degree in business from Hastings College in Hastings, Nebraska, where he currently serves on the Board of Trustees.
